Join us at the Boat Laboratory Workshop to make the water vehicle of your wildest dreams! We have lots of DIY materials, small motors and a big, inflatable pool for prototyping, testing - and eventually racing. You can work solo or team up with a friend. Non-electric boat models, submarines and artistic interpretations of the theme are also welcome. No previous experience is required, just a bit of curiosity, creativity, and a sense of adventure!
Kati Hyyppä (FI) and Niklas Roy (DE) are Berlin-based artists and tinkerers who create playful, participatory installations and workshops exploring science, technology, and craft. Rooted in DIY and hacker culture, their practice invites curiosity, experimentation, and hands-on engagement. Their works often have a humorous twist, and have been presented at exhibitions and festivals worldwide.
