In this two-day training, we will explore the essential basic concepts to get started with 3D printing. As a practical component, we will print objects from museum collections that you can take home!

• Preparing the model for printing using UltiMaker Cura 5.8 software

18 years and older

Participants should have basic computing knowledge and an interest in Digital Technologies, Arts, and Cultural Heritage.

Requirements

Participants must bring their own computer with the UltiMaker Cura 5.8 software installed. The computer must meet the following minimum requirements:

• Graphics card compatible with OpenGL 2, OpenGL 4.1 for 3D visualization
• Screen resolution: 1024 x 768
• Intel Core 2 or AMD Athlon 64 processor
• 550 MB of available hard drive space
• 4GB of RAM
